Art and Design

My first relationship with art was as a means of escape, a raft. I learned to create a world of my own from the material of childhood wounds. So when I was a young person, my ego became enchanted with what seemed like creative power. It took me a good many years to burn my friend the raft in a good way. Creation, it turns out, is not synonymous with power. My initiation experience was at the hands of a loving earth. With that transformation complete, I am now able to channel in immaterial ways. I think this explains my shift from being an artist of material things to one of applying those skills of craftsmanship and creation to helping people heal. This took the first 50 years of life. Next is the gradual return to spirit and the continuation of the cycle.
